Last month, we launched our Showpad app on the Salesforce AppExchange. This week is another exciting week as we are announcing our integration with Microsoft Dynamics. With this integration our customers are now provided with visibility into what content is shared with prospects to keep them engaged post meeting. Additionally sales teams can view how prospects have engaged with this shared content. These insights can then be leveraged by:

  1. Sales reps to prioritize and tailor their next steps
  2. Sales managers to coach reps on specific opportunities
  3. Sales leaders to identify deals at risk and deliver a more accurate forecast

Here are some of the details around this integration:

Salespeople can use Showpad to craft a tailored message using marketing-approved content with our new Collections feature. Then they can quickly sent this personalized set to their prospect.


Once the prospect interacts with the shared content, the salesperson is notified and can easily see how that buyer has engaged with the content. Showpad provides insight into the number of views, downloads and reshares with others as well as the time spent on each page or asset. 

This data is also automatically provided in Microsoft Dynamics, so sellers can go back to it and tailor their next steps based on the prospect’s interests. For instance, if prospects re-share the content with someone else within their organization, the reps can use this information to identify other key stakeholders.


As mentioned in the beginning of this post, the integration is meant to help sales teams be more productive and effective. It also gives executive leaders better insights, so they can run their business better and forecast revenue more accurately.

Specifically, sales managers can understand reps’ activities and more effectively coach on an individual opportunity based on content shared and a prospect’s engagement with that information. If a salesperson says she’ll close a deal by the end of the quarter, her manager can do a sanity check on that forecast.
